_CHEMISTRY

Chemistry is an installation about finding your TRUE LOVE. I asked Martien van Bergen (Blimey!) to compose a short duet. The duet is sung by 7 girls and 7 boys, put together in 14 different combinations. 


The same song will be heard over and over again but the installation changes all the time because of the different combinations of voices and faces. Hanging in the room are two film screens showing the faces of the people that are singing at that time.

if I give what you need

(w) I'm not sure if there is chemistry

(m) I'm not sure if I excite you,
if I stir your heartbeat

(w) I'm not sure if there's a wire,
that carries a fire

(m+w) But we could try and live day by day
let's find out if we're meant to be
